What is the difference between a Regular Cleaning and a Karma Cleaning?

A Regular Cleaning is a full-service hygiene visit that includes:
✔️ Scaling
✔️ Polishing
✔️ Fluoride treatment
✔️ Complimentary Laser Whitening (minimum two units of scaling required.)

It may also include X-rays and a dentist visit, depending on individual needs. Most insurance plans cover all services except whitening—our gift to you!

A Karma Cleaning is a Fixed-cost option ($200) designed to make dental care more accessible. It includes:
✔️ 2 Bitewing X-rays (to assess bone levels and cavity risks)
✔️ 2 units of scaling (~20-30 minutes)
✔️ Hygiene exam with a registered dental hygienist

⛔ It does not include polish, fluoride, or complimentary whitening.

Is the Karma Cleaning a Complete Cleaning??

It depends! For some, 2 units of scaling (20-30 minutes) is enough, but if it’s been a while since your last visit, more time may be needed to fully remove buildup. If additional time is required, we’ll always discuss options with you first.

Does the Karma cleaning include complimentary whitening?

No—since the Karma Cleaning is designed to provide access to basic hygiene care, whitening is not included. However, if you’d like to add polish and fluoride, we can upgrade you to a Regular Cleaning, which does include whitening!

How much is a Regular Cleaning?

Due to many individual variables, we can not provide a specific quote. But a typical visit includes:
💰 Scaling: ~$253 (for 3 units; may vary)
💰 Polish: $74
💰 Fluoride Treatment: $37

Depending on your case, X-rays and a dentist visit may be required. All full hygiene appointments include Complimentary Laser Whitening.
